Describe your first Rise Experience: Was about 2am and I was at another club in November or December 1999. A mate of mine said to me, “Come check out this new club its called Rise, Simon Barwood is the resident DJ there wanna check it out???” So off we went to see what all the fuss was about!!!! Ended up on the dance floor till 6am in high heels… (The last time I wore high heels out clubbing I assure u). Describe your best night at Rise: Best night at Rise had to be Ultra Sonic V’s Public Domain last year. The crowd was pumping and the atmosphere was unbelievable, I’ve never seen rise that packed! Was standing right in front of the DJ booth for the first hour or two. Looking upstairs and down at all the crowd just going wild was an absolute buzz . Whats your favourite thing about Rise: Would have to be that its like no other, the kind of music over the years has stayed very similar and I guess I enjoy that a lot! Rise also has an extremely happy atmosphere inside the club which isn’t present at a lot of other clubs. Not only that for such a great night out its usually free to get in!
